However, our air conditioning unit gave us quite a headache. It malfunctioned, and we had to request a room change—a bit frustrating on a hot summer day.

I booked a Studio room for one night to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday, and the hotel surprised us with room upgrades, bubbly, and cupcakes! It was so nice relaxing by the rooftop pool with a great view and enjoying the buffet breakfast. Just a heads up, there were a few tiny maintenance issues in our room, but it didn’t take away from our wonderful experience. 🎉

I stayed at Mantra for a family weekend getaway in a spacious two-bedroom apartment on the 5th floor. The furniture felt new, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the mall and Circular Quay, with a tram stop right outside. However, the noise from the street and nearby tram line was bothersome during the night. I could hear chatter from passersby, which made it difficult to sleep. Next time, I’ll definitely request a quieter room away from the tram line. Overall, the convenience of the area and the accommodation's size made our stay pleasant despite the noise issues.

The rooftop pool was a hit with my kids they splashed around while I enjoyed the views. The staff were friendly and helped us with a late breakfast after we overslept which was a lifesaver.
